Anything vs. Any thing
This is rarely used as two words. Use it as one word, “anything.” Think in terms of “nothing.” It has become a single word.
Examples:
- She wrote down anything that came to her mind for the essay.

- Unfortunately, she didn’t get anything right on the rest of the test.

- After taking that test, she felt like she didn’t know anything.
